Whoooosh。 Goodness。 You know a book was good -no， not good but GREAT- when it leaves you reconsidering your very own existence。 The reading experience itself was delightful and thrilling beyond measure。 I truly did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did。 At first， I understood nothing， and in the end， I understood nothing either。 The characters were so complex， so human and powerful and vulnerable at the same time， and their storylines even more so。 It was impossible not to love them and feel i Whoooosh。 Goodness。 You know a book was good -no， not good but GREAT- when it leaves you reconsidering your very own existence。 The reading experience itself was delightful and thrilling beyond measure。 I truly did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did。 At first， I understood nothing， and in the end， I understood nothing either。 The characters were so complex， so human and powerful and vulnerable at the same time， and their storylines even more so。 It was impossible not to love them and feel identified with their backgrounds and motives。 Yes， even *that* character。 With this book， its plotline and its characters， nothing is at it seems。 I so eagerly recommend everyone to read this book because it is， clearly and simply worth reading。 5/5 stars。 。。。more

This book is very unsettling and undoubtly confusing to me。 I don't know whether it is because of my lack of reading comprehension， or it is genuinely because there are so many plot holes in this book that kind of prevent me to grasp the general idea of the whole plot。 The thing that's frustrating me is the fact that this book has so many potentials on its origin materials。 The complex characters， the magic system， the secret society。。。 it's everything that I usually craving and looking for in a This book is very unsettling and undoubtly confusing to me。 I don't know whether it is because of my lack of reading comprehension， or it is genuinely because there are so many plot holes in this book that kind of prevent me to grasp the general idea of the whole plot。 The thing that's frustrating me is the fact that this book has so many potentials on its origin materials。 The complex characters， the magic system， the secret society。。。 it's everything that I usually craving and looking for in a book。 I really want to like this book so badly base on that facts alone， but I guess this book just didn't doing it for me。 。。。more

NOW THIS IS A NEW PIECE OF ART。 BRILLIANT。 This book is amazing。 One of my favorites by far。 I enjoyed so much how the character driven story just unfolded and fed you small pieces for you to put them together。 The philosophical and physical themes were so well put， just brilliant writing。 The characters are so complex that you still feel like you do not know them 100% after finishing the book， which opens so many possibilities for the next book。The art work is beautiful！ You just want to frame NOW THIS IS A NEW PIECE OF ART。 BRILLIANT。 This book is amazing。 One of my favorites by far。 I enjoyed so much how the character driven story just unfolded and fed you small pieces for you to put them together。 The philosophical and physical themes were so well put， just brilliant writing。 The characters are so complex that you still feel like you do not know them 100% after finishing the book， which opens so many possibilities for the next book。The art work is beautiful！ You just want to frame the cover and the characters’ art work （more books should come with their characters drawn）。Please， please， pretty please give me the next one！！ 。。。more

3。5* it had potential。 I really liked the story but I felt like everything that I didn’t like was due to editing。 I felt like the explanations were dragged out and the dialogue was so long and unnatural。 It really lost me half way through。 Because of this I gave it that rating。 I also could not stand the formatting and how crowded each page was and it was uncomfortable to read a physical copy。 If I read it on my kindle this wouldn’t be an issue so I didn’t relate that to my rating。
